Happy Feet in Karachi

Flash Mobs have become quite the buzz internationally and it has caught up in Pakistan.  A small group of happy and energetic people graced an open area in front of a mall in Karachi.  This isn't just any flash mob dancing for the heck of it, it's for a good cause.  ActOne, derived from the Centre of Arts and Well-being in Karachi.  The centre has been running for 5 years, has had about 3500 students and has 14 international and national instructors. The centre consists of activities such as kickboxing, aerobics, zumba, yoga and numerous dancing classes such as ballet, kathak, salsa, hiphop, the tango and waltz.  ActOne's purpose is to be a platform for a healthy lifestyle, enjoying life through various classes offered and staying fit.
The purpose of this particular flash mob was to help the flood victims to get back up and begin their lives again.  These flash mobs to the creators are called "Dance for a Cause" and support the arts; they will  help buy art materials for the kids in areas that were affected by the flood and bring them a sense of bringing back their childhood through fun activities.
Another flash mob is scheduled in Karachi in March and 1,000 people will attend! They have future plans to take them even further to Lahore and Islamabad!
I think this is an awesome idea and the video is super cute! It's not meant to be perfect, but as the word spreads it will get bigger and better and will benefit the people of our country :) Enjoy!
